The terminating segment of the tail of a giant desert scorpid comprises this monstrous relic. Over a yard long, this desiccated spine yet drips an endless trickle of caustic venom. It is ever warm to the touch, and emits a not-entirely-unpleasant scent of sand and sweet, sickly, rot.
